Watchung Hills Cancels All Sports Due To Winter Advisory
Due to the winter weather advisory, Watchung Hills Regional High School is cancelling all athletic contests scheduled for Tuesday.

WARREN, NJ — Due to the winter weather advisory, Watchung Hills Regional High School is cancelling all athletic contests scheduled for Tuesday.
Athletes should check with individual coaches for practice times. WHRHS serves students from Warren Township and neighboring communities Watchung, and Green Brook in Somerset County and Long Hill Township in Morris County.
A winter weather advisory remains in place for eight New Jersey counties – Sussex, Morris, Mercer, Warren, Hunterdon, Somerset and eastern Passaic and Bergen counties. A hazardous weather outlook was issued for the rest of the state.

A snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches is in the forecast in six New Jersey counties where the advisory was issued, with much of it falling after 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Two inches or less – plus rain – will fall elsewhere, according to the National Weather Service.
Gov. Phil Murphy also announced that state government offices will start closing on a "rolling basis" Tuesday beginning at 1:30 p.m. because of a winter storm that's expected to impact New Jersey. (See Related: Gov. Murphy Closes State Gov't As NJ Prepares For Winter Weather)
