Students Showcase Business Know-How at State Conference

Seven participate in Future Business Leaders of America conference.

New Jersey's Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference is an annual event which took place on March 14-15 in East Brunswick. Students from across the state competed in individual or team events testing their business skills and knowledge. This year seven students from Watchung Hills attended the conference after winning at the Regional Competitive Events in January.

Honors received by Watchung Hills FBLA members at the State Leadership Conference:

  • Helen Dai and Rajvi Mehta - 5th place honors in Marketing
  • Trevor Adriaanse and Ryan Smith - 5th place honors in Management Decision Making


Honors received by Watchung Hills FBLA members at Regionals:

  • Greg Couch - 1st place honors in Business Procedures
  • Helen Dai and Rajvi Mehta - 2nd place honors in Marketing
  • Trevor Adriaanse and Ryan Smith - 3rd place honors in Management Decision Making
  • Connor Pittfield - 6th place honors in Accounting I
  • Stephanie Blumer - 8th place honors in Computer Applications
  • Alex Yu - 10th place honors in Personal Finance
