Student's 'Teacher Feature' on Department of Education Webpage
Gregory Biniukow one of 39 teachers praised by students on state's 'Teacher Feature,' thanks to Katie Holz.

The New Jersey Department of Education launched a website for students who want to sing the praises of a favorite teacher—and student Katie Holz took advantage of the "Teacher Feature" program to submit an endorsement of her history teacher, Gregory Biniukow.
Biniukow teachers Modern European History for 10th grade and United States History 1 for 11th grade, Katie said, and she praised his "genuine" kindness and enthusiasm for teaching.
"He can make the class laugh and enjoyable due to his abundant knowledge of side stories of historical events," Katie wrote on the DoE page. "Mr. Biniukow’s apparent passion for teaching is seen every Dec. 8th, National Brownie Day. It is Mr. Biniukow’s personal tradition of baking brownies for his classes by explaining that the day he doesn’t feel like baking for his students anymore, will be the day he stops teaching.

"I hope that day doesn’t come for a while because he inspires and motivates many students every single year because of his enthusiasm for everything," she added. "I am truly so thankful that I was able to meet this wonderful teacher and finally understand what it means when someone says they love to teach."
Katie's write-up for Biniukow is one of 39 "Memories" currently featured on the site.
