'Wet Bandits' Strike Warren Home, Cause $40K Worth Of Damage

It would seem a burglar or burglars were channeling the "Home Alone" movie when they hit a home in Warren on Tuesday.

WARREN, NJ — It would seem a burglar or burglars were channeling the "Home Alone" movie when they hit a home in Warren on Tuesday.

On May 9, a burglary was reported to a home under construction on Liberty Corner Road in Warren.

Someone reportedly entered the home and opened a second floor laundry room water valve. As a result, water caused about $40,000 worth of damage, Warren Police reported.

On Sunday, May 7: Brian Plesko, 21, of Warren, and Dakota Browne-Oneill, 22, of Warren, were both arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Warrenville Road. Both were transported to headquarters, processed, charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and released on their own recognizance with a pending court date. Plesko was also issued a motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe traffic lanes. Vehicle was impounded.
