4 Shoplifters Arrested, 1 Remains At Large In Watchung

WATCHUNG, NJ — Watchung Police reported making four shoplifting arrests and one still at large at borough stores.

Watchung Police Blotter:

On June 14: Home Depot on Route 22 West reported a shoplifter who fled from the store with merchandise. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s with a beard wearing jeans, a blue shirt and a baseball hat. The suspect removed cordless tools valued at $129 and police are investigating.

(name removed)On June 14: Aaron Carter, 25, of Newark was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Union for $1,226. He was transported to Somerset County Jail to await pickup from Union.

On June 13: Jasmine Ruff, 23, of Plainfield was arrested at Target on Route 22 West for shoplifting. Ruff concealed clothing in her handbag worth $44.98. She was transported to headquarters and processed. She also had two warrants out of South Plainfield and Fanwood. She was later released on summonses.

On June 13: Lydia Oquendo, 22, of Kenilworth was arrested for shoplifting at Target on Route 22 West. She was transported to headquarters and processed.

On June 13: Zoe Korunow, 23, of Westfield was arrested for shoplifting at Target on Route 22 West. She was transported to headquarters and processed.
