7 Shoplifting Incidents Reported In Watchung
A total of five people were arrested for shoplifting at Watchung stores. Two alleged shoplifters are still wanted, police report.

WATCHUNG, NJ — A total of five people were arrested for shoplifting at Watchung stores. Two alleged shoplifters are still wanted, police report.
Watchung Police Blotter:
On Jan. 29 at 8:16 p.m.: Toys R Us on Route 22 West reported a shoplifter fled from the store with merchandise. The suspect was described as a light skinned black male in his early 20s with a thin build wearing royal blue pants, a dart jacket and a royal blue hooded sweatshirt and carrying a royal blue duffle bag. The suspect removed $900 worth of electronic gaming equipment from the store and police are investigating.

On Jan. 31 at 4:30 p.m.: Ulta Beauty Supply store on Route 22 West reported a shoplifter who fled from the store with merchandise. The suspect was described as a white male approximately 6' tall with brown crew cut, black framed glasses and wearing a gray jacket with horizontal blue or black stripes and blue jeans. The suspect was working with a lookout who was described as a 5'10" black male with short black hair, a beard and wearing a light blue pullover and blue jeans. The suspect removed $2,810 worth of personal beauty care products from display and both suspects left the area. Police are investigating.
On Feb. 3 at 8:42 p.m.: Henry Walker III, 41, of Plainfield was arrested for having an active warrant out of Watchung for $750. Walker resisted arrested and was transported to Somerset Hospital for complaint of head pain and minor scrape to right wrist. He was then transported to Somerset County Sheriff's on the bail. Walker was charged with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Feb. 2 at 10:42 p.m.: Kevin Graham, 28, of Newark was arrested following a traffic stop on Mountain Avenue for possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On Feb. 2 at 2:55 p.m.: Tracy Doyle, 33, of Fanwood was arrested at Kohls on Route 22 for shoplifting clothing and sneakers valued at $239.99. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On Jan. 31 at 9:36 a.m.: Nicole Donnell, 29, of Sacramento, Calif. was arrested at Target on Route 22 West for shoplifting a purse, wallet and bikinis valued at $64.98. She was also charged with hindering apprehension for giving a fake name and social security number. She also had a warrant out of Chesterfield Municipal Court for $2,500. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On Feb. 1 at 7:15 p.m.: Lilian Rodas, 29, of Plainfield was arrested following a traffic stop of Terrill Road for having a warrant out of Fanwood for $100. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released on after posting bail.
On Jan. 30 at 8:57 p.m.: Christoph Bryan, 34, of Bridgewater was arrested following a shoplifting investigation at Walmart on Route 22 West. He was also found to have an active warrant out of North Plainfield for $500. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting full bail.
On Jan. 29 at 12:18 p.m.: Hawa Kanoute, 56, of Newark was arrested for shoplifting from the Unique Thrift Store on Route 22 West. She removed multiple belts valued at $31.92 from the store's display and placed them inside her purse. She also switched tags from miscellaneous clothing and bins to reduce the total value of the items. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On Jan. 29 at 12:18 p.m.: Zianabu Tagoemann, 48, of Newark was arrested from shoplifting from the Unique Thrift Store on Route 22 West by switching price tags on $158.91 worth of merchandise. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On Jan. 29 at 3:29 p.m.: Shelton Diggs, 40, of Plainfield was arrested on an active warrant out of Watchung Municipal Court for $500. He was unable to post bail and was transported to Somerset County Jail.
