A Return to the Shtetl

Join us for an Erev Shabbat service incorporating beautiful Yiddish music with Singer Ann Monka. She will also recount her childhood memories living in Lida, Poland and how music helped her survive through World War II living first in hiding, and subsequently in a  concentration camp, and in forests with the Partisans.  An Oneg Shabbat is offered after the service.  Open to the community at large; free admission.
