Affinity Federal Credit Union Receives Community Service Award from New Jersey Business & Industry Association

Affinity Federal Credit Union (AFCU) was honored to receive the Community Service Award from New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) on October 15th at the Pines Manor located in Edison, New Jersey. AFCU was also given notable recognition in NJBIA’s Business Voice newsletter and magazine. The New Jersey Business & Industry Association focuses on providing information, services and support to its members and their companies to ensure a more affluent New Jersey.

The Community Service Award is presented annually to a company or organization for outstanding service in the public interest. In order to receive the award, recipients must not only be in good standing with the NJBIA, but their nominated activity must take place outside their normal business realm with no resulting profit. The nominees must also be well known for dedicated leadership in finding resolutions to persistent social or economic difficulties in their communities and or state as a whole.
