GREEN BROOK, NJ — A Green Brook man died, and three other people were injured after a boat they were in struck a channel marker in Barnegat Bay this past weekend.
Michael Bereheiko, 26,was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital, police said.
Two other passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries. A fourth passenger suffered minor injuries.
Officers responded to the scene on July 25 around 11 a.m. after receiving calls of a boating accident.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
