• Kean Secures $1 Million for Watchung Pedestrian Safety Improvements (house.gov) — A $1 million federal grant is headed to Watchung to upgrade sidewalks and improve pedestrian safety along Valley Road, a stretch where a child was seriously injured seven years ago. Congressman Tom Kean Jr. and Mayor Ronald Jubin say the project will boost walkability and safer access for families, students, and residents with disabilities throughout the neighborhood.
