• Election 2026 Update: Kraft Replaces Xavier on Watchung Democratic Council Ticket (tapinto.net) — Watchung voters will see a reshuffled Democratic Borough Council ticket this November, with former councilmember Lindsay Kraft stepping in for Dr. Albin Xavier, who's moving to Florida. The ballot will also feature a contested mayor's race and competitive Watchung Hills Regional school board seat, while Watchung Borough Board of Education incumbents run unopposed for three seats.
   

• Watchung Hills High School Back-to-School Requirements (tapinto.net) — Families in Watchung whose teens attend Watchung Hills Regional High School are being urged to complete all 2026–27 back‑to‑school tasks in Genesis, from handbook and technology acknowledgements to 1:1 device forms. If your student needs free or reduced‑price lunch, you must submit a new application by September 30, 2026 for benefits to continue.
