WATCHUNG, NJ — Watchung residents will come together at 5:30 p.m. Friday, September 11, to remember the lives lost in the terrorist attacks 25 years ago.
The borough's September 11 Memorial Ceremony is listed among Watchung's centennial events and will be held rain or shine, according to the official schedule.
Watchung's memorial includes steel recovered from the World Trade Center and granite that once formed part of the Statue of Liberty's base. It honors everyone who died because of the attacks, including Watchung residents Christopher N. Ingrassia and Honor Elizabeth Wainio.
Residents should check the borough calendar for any updates before attending.
