WATCHUNG, NJ — Halloween plans are taking shape in Watchung, where a free fall festival will bring music, food and costume contests to the community later this month.
The Borough of Watchung will hold its annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 31, from noon to 3 p.m. at Mobus Field, 40 Brookdale Road, according to a recent borough announcement.
The celebration is open to all ages, with costume contests offering prizes for children, adults and pets.
Music, food and additional prizes are also planned for the afternoon.
If the weather doesn't cooperate, the borough has scheduled a rain date for Sunday, Nov. 1.
Admission to the festival is free.
