Bare Root Band at Junebug Artfest in Metuchen

The Bare Root Band includes the reinvented jazz trio Shikantaza (Doug Miller on piano, Bernhard Geiger on upright bass, and Brandon Lewin, percussion) as the rhythm section, led by guitarist Bill Flemer, switch-hitting and harmonizing with Lori Pantaleo on vocals.

The BareRoot band offers up an irresistible mix of classic country western and American western swing music by the likes of Rodney Crowell, Johnny Cash, Iris Dement, Bonnie Raitt, Lyle Lovett, Bob Wills, Steve Earle, Leon Russell, Buddy Miller, and Susan Werner.

Junebug Artfest is free and open to the public.  In the event of rain, the performance will be moved to the Old Franklin School.
