Build A Refuge Garden For Your Backyard

Come and explore the philosophical, aesthetic, and practical elements of having such a refuge in your own backyard.

Date/Time: Thursday, October 2, 2014; 7–8:30 p.m.
Location: Great Swamp Watershed Association, 568 Tempe Wick Road, Morristown, NJ

Join the Great Swamp Watershed Association (GSWA) and landscape architect Tony Berardo for an exploration of the philosophical, aesthetic, and practical elements of creating a small-space “refuge” garden in your backyard. These outdoor spaces offer a quiet place where one can meditate, practice yoga, read, nap, or just revel in the sounds, smells, and visual activity of nature.

Tony Berardo is the owner of Cross River Design of Annandale, NJ—one of America’s premier design-build landscape architecture firms. He offers broad experience and expertise in all matters related to plants and landscape design.
