Build-Your-Own Rain Barrel Workshop
When it pours, it stores! Learn how to build and install your own rain barrel with the Great Swamp Watershed Association.

Date/Time: Thursday, October 16, 2014; 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Great Swamp Watershed Association, 568 Tempe Wick Road, Morristown, NJ
Why should you get a rain barrel? Use it to capture and store the rain running through your home’s downspout and you’ll routinely have 55 gallons of free water to use around your property. Using a recycled, food-grade barrel and a spigot adapter kit, the Great Swamp Watershed Association will walk you through the simple rain barrel construction process. Take your new barrel home at the end of the workshop and you’re ready to hook it up to your home’s downspout.
Cost: $75 per kit (includes barrel and spigot). Space is limited. Register right now at GreatSwamp.org or call (973) 538-3500 x22. Participants are responsible for transporting barrels home at the end of the workshop. No delivery service available.
