Civil War Encampment of the 3rd N.J. Vol. Infantry - September 27th, 2014

You and your family are invited to visit the Civil War Encampment of the 3rd N.J. Vol. Infantry At the Watchung Circle Sept 27th, 2014 10 a.m. -5 p.m.


Sent home to rest, re-fit and recruit by order of the War Dept., the 3 year veterans of Company
‘A‘, 3rd NJVI, First Brigade, First Div., VI Corps, Army of the Shenandoah ( detached from the
Army of the Potomac) would love to engage you and your children by demonstrating and
discussing all aspects of camp life and drill. There will even be a “Children’s Drill” at noon, 1:30
and 2:45 with wooden muskets! Also, make sure to stop by the Watchung Arts Center later that evening at 8:00 pm for a performance by world renown Irish Music Historian David Kincaid! Tickets are available through the Watchung Arts Center: http://www.watchungarts.org/Performances.htm
