Copper Pipe Stolen from House Renovation Site
Watchung Borough police report several thefts.

A Watchung resident reported the theft of copper pipe valued at about $1,000 from his residence, which is being renovated. The theft occurred sometime between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sept. 3.
Watchung police are continuing to investigate the theft, in addition to the following:
A Green Brook resident reported the theft of several items from a 2009 Honda Civic parked on Watchung Avenue, after the car was broken into sometime between 8 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Sept. 9. Details on the items taken was not released, but totaled $749 in value.

A Plainfield resident reported the theft of her wallet, valued at $150 with its contents, while she was shopping at ShopRite at about 7:15 p.m. Sept. 8.
