Couple Says Loose Huskies Killed Their Cat
Green Brook police contact Humane Society to collect two dogs.

A couple living on Gold Street in Green Brook reported finding two stray Huskies, which they believed killed their cat at about 11 a.m. May 27.
According to police, one of the dogs was lying at the end of the property's driveway, where a few feet away, lay their dead cat. The other dog was standing near and growled when aproached by anyone.
Police reported the cat appeared to be covered in dog saliva when they arrived at the residence.

The Humane Society was contacted to pick up the dogs, and following a check of the dogs' registrations, were determined to belong to a Dunellen resident, who was notified of the incident.
No charges have been filed yet in the incident, but the dogs were being held by the Humane Society for observation.
