Seeking What the Heart Holds Sacred:
Labyrinth Workshop
Thursday, January 29, Noon - 1:30 pm
Presenter:
Debbie Ketter, Certified Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator
There is a traditional practice in Peru of preparing despachos or prayer packets, which include symbolic contents. In this workshop, we will make our own prayer packets by
substituting similar items from our own culture. We will set intentions and prayers by selecting items that hold special significance to create a package made from artful paper and other exquisite materials. We will complete the activity by a guided walk on our indoor labyrinth, a calming meditation tool. Please feel free to bring photographs or representations of people you may be praying for, a bit of soil from a place that is special to you, herbs, flowers, or any small items that hold
personal symbolic meaning. Also please wear comfortable shoes.
