Served as a volunteer firefighter for 19 years, including the last five with Green Brook; an EMT for the past 10 years and is currently the president of the Green Brook Fire-EMS, president of the Green Brook Relief Association, captain and training officer for the fire department and lieutenant on the EMS.

Volunteer coach in youth sports for 20 years and is manager of his son’s little league baseball team in Green Brook.  He has also been involved in Watchung Rock Pop Warner football.
