DOG OF THE WEEK – Help Houston find his Forever Home

Houston is a 1 year old Yellow Labrador Retriever mix. He came from a high kill shelter in Georgia where he was scheduled to be euthanized. Houston is very submissive and aims to please. He is a gentle giant who loves everyone he meets. Houston is a great family dog who loves car rides and playing fetch. When he is home, he settles down very nicely. He is a large dog who is fully grown. Houston is neutered, up to date with his vaccinations, and micro-chipped.

For more information on Houston or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue visit the Home for Good website(www.homeforgooddogs.org), call (908) 598-8212 or email info@hfgdr.org. If you are considering adopting Houston or one of the other Home for Good dogs, please complete an online application.  A pre-approved application is required for all “meet and greets” and adoptions.

Let’s help Houston and his HFG friends find their new “forever” homes!

About Home for Good Dog Rescue:

Home for Good is a volunteer-based, 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a 100 percent foster based organization with an office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from deplorable conditions in kill shelters, tending to their physical needs and finding them a new loving home where they can thrive.

At Home for Good, we seek the best treatment for our animals. We provide medical care, training, support and hope. Our dogs are vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. We rescue puppies and dogs that are facing euthanasia. Some require surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care for respiratory illnesses, skin infections, heartworm treatments, and emergency surgeries. Through our adoption services, these loving animals are given a chance at a happy and fulfilled life.
