Ex-Employee Charged After Refusing to Leave Store

Watchung police say Plainfield man ignored Wal-Mart managers requests.

Oliver Esannason Jr., 59, of Plainfield, was charged with tresspassing at about 3 p.m. June 27 after refusing to leave the store.

Accoridng to the police report, Esannason is a former employee of the store. He refused to leave the store despite repeated requests by the store's management to do so, allegedly telling them he's rather be arrested than to leave.

Watchung police obliged, and he was taken into custody and charged with defiant tresspassing.

Esannason was turned over to Somerset County Jail after failing to post a $200 bail.
