FLAMENCO NIGHTS @ GALERIA WEST

On Friday, March 28, 2014 at 7:30pm Flamenco Nights @ Galeria West once again brings the passion of Spanish Flamenco to the Galeria West art & music gallery venue, located at 111 Quimby Street in downtown Westfield, NJ. This popular bi-monthly event features a cast of accomplished music & dance guest artists as they celebrate this internationally popular arts genre from Spain. On this evening acclaimed guitarist Pedro Cortes & accomplished special guest Spanish flamenco dancer Almudena Serrano from Puerta Santa Maria in Spain; acclaimed dancer, actor and choreographer Jorge Navarro from Andalusia, Spain; and the talented dancer and percussionist Jose Moreno take the stage at this wonderfully intimate venue.

This evening of passionate flamenco puro reveals the pure emotional essence of this popular Iberian music and dance form. The musicians are joined on stage by the accomplished dancers and together they celebrate the expressive flamenco as it takes on a new character and exposes the audience to the warmth of the human spirit as expressed through music and dance by these talented artists. The body movements and the facial expressions join with the artistry of the musicians and singers to create a spectacle that is a treat for both the eye and the soul. Come experience an evening of Spanish gypsy culture with the cast of this captivating music and dance celebration! Get your tickets early!                                                                                       Tickets are priced at $25 for adults and $15 for children. Advance tickets are available online at BrownPaperTickets.com (enter Flamenco Nights @ Galeria West for event search) or for reservations and info call the TEATRO Si box office at 908-301-9496 or walk-up tickets are available at the door on event date starting at 6:30pm.

We recommend planning on enjoying a fine meal or dessert before or after the show at one of several fine restaurants in downtown Westfield, NJ. and the surrounding area.
