Man Indicted for Alleged Sexual Contact With Girl, 12, in Somerset
Damien Moye also allegedly had contact with the girl in Newark.

A former Bernards Township resident has been indicted on charges he had sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl in a number of locations, including in Newark, NJ.com reported.
Damien Moye, a 37-year-old convicted sex offender, was indicted on six counts in Somerset County court. Authorities said he had inappropriate physical contact with the girl over the course of a few weeks beginning Dec. 20, 2011 at a building in Newark when the girl, now 14, was 12 years old. Moye also allegedly asked the girl to perform a sexual act but the girl declined, NJ.com reported.

The investigation into Moye began when the girl’s high school counselor called Bernards police in September after hearing the allegations from the girl.
