Green Brook Board of Education Seeks New Members

Recent resignations have opened two seats on the school board.

The Green Brook Township Public Schools Board of Education's website contains an announcement: The nine-member body is looking for residents interested in serving the community and its families by serving as school board members.

Two recent resignations opened two slots on the BOE. Interviews for those seats will take place Sept. 23, and afterward the currently sitting members will hold a business meeting in which they will appoint their choices.

One of the two seats expires in 2014; the other position is for a full three-year term.
