Green Brook Man Arrested For Inhaling Chemicals At Walmart

Five Manville locals were also arrested on warrants, disorderly conduct and domestic violence, according to the police blotter.

MANVILLE, NJ — A Green Brook man was arrested for inhaling intoxicating chemicals following an investigation at Walmart in Manville, police reported.

Christopher Hickman, 35, of Green Brook was arrested on Jan. 18 at 8:20 a.m. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed, charged and released, police reported.

On Jan. 15 at 11:40 a.m.: A resident of Pope Street reported she received a Chase Bank cashier's check in the mail today in the amount of $2,750. She believed it to be a scam. There was no monetary loss. Patrols confirm it was a scam.

On Jan. 15 at 3:01 p.m.: Patrols respond to Walmart for a reported shoplifter. Christopher Ferranti, 31, of Somerville was transported to police headquarters where he was processed, charged and released.

On Jan. 16 at 1:42 a.m.: Following an investigation, Monique Trafski of Manville was transported to Somerset County Jail in default of bail for an outstanding Manville warrant.

On Jan. 16 at 12:12 p.m.: Valerie Urban, 61, of Manville is arrested for disorderly conduct. She was transported to police headquarters where she was processed, charged and released.

On Jan. 16 at 10:22 p.m.: Franklin Allen, Jr., of Manville was transported to Somerset County Jail in default of bail for an outstanding Manville warrant.

On Jan. 17 at 2:38 p.m.: Following an investigation on Main Street, patrols arrest Crystal Sawyer, 28, of Manville on two active NCIC warrants from the Somerset County Sheriff's Department. She was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released.

On Jan. 19 at 6:51 a.m.: A resident of Manville was arrested for domestic violence assault following an investigation.

On Jan. 19 at 7:22 p.m.: Susan Orecchio, 51, of Raritan responded to police headquarters to post bail on a traffic warrant from Manville. Bail waiver was completed and cash bail was posted. She was processed and released.

On Jan. 20 at 7:12 a.m.: A resident of Piscataway was arrested for domestic violence assault and criminal mischief following an investigation.
