Green Brook Man's Motorcycle Vandalized

Middlesex man reports missing wallet at Sunset Diner.

At 2:47 p.m. Aug. 27, a Robin Court resident reported damage to a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle caused when someone apparently tipped the motorcycle over, damaging a rear-view mirror expected to cost about $100 to repair. The owner noted a cover was pulled off the motorcycle, and a cover on a second motorcycle was partially removed.

A Middlesex resident contacted police to report the loss of his black nylon wallet containing a New Jersey driver's license, Discover and Visa credit cards, a NJ Firearms ID and a NJ disabled ID on Aug. 22. The man said he believed he dropped it in the parking lot at the Sunset Diner parking lot, but the diner reported no one had turned it in.

A Woodcrest Lane resident reported damage to vehicle from downed cable TV wire at 9:35 a.m. Aug. 23. The report came as Green Brook police were inspecting the downed wire on Greenbrook Road. According to the report, the resident's vehicle had marks on driver's side door and a broken mirror, which the resident said was caused when he got caught up on the wire.
