Why are you running for the school board?

I am running for the school board because I value the work of educators in promoting the academic success of all students and I want to contribute in any way I can to achieve the same vision.
What experience do you have that would help you serving on the school board?
I have been a public servant as an educator for the past 10 years and I am looking forward to serving the children and parents of Green Brook and help our school district become one of the best in the nation. As an educator with a great understanding of the effects of school policies on teachers, parents, students, and administrators, I am confident that I can help and support our board of education in making decisions that promote high academic achievements. My academic knowledge on school leadership and my professional expertise on instructional practices and curriculum will be my contribution if elected in November.
What issues would you like to see addressed if elected?
One main topic I would address as a member of the board of education would be community involvement in helping shape policies that support academic achievements. I believe that internal and external stakeholders are integral parts of promoting the success of every child.
