Nobel Family Scion Notes Student's 'Hard Work, Sacrifice and Commitment'
Invites Daniel Grant, of Green Brook, to join National Society of High School Scholars.

The National Society of High School Scholars announced that student Daniel Grant, of Green Brook, has been selected for membership.
The Society recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved academic excellence. The announcement was made by NSHSS Founder and Chairman Claes Nobel, a senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes.
"On behalf of NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice and commitment that Daniel has demonstrated to achieve this level of academic excellence," said Mr. Nobel. "Daniel is now a member of a unique community of scholars—a community that represents our very best hope for the future."

Daniel Grant attended the NSHSS Annual Scholar’s Day at Georgetown University on Aug. 3. More than 900 high school students from 40 countries and all U.S. states were honored at the NSHSS annual conference. The conference theme was "Learn, Lead and Change the World."
The opening speaker at the annual scholar’s conference was Dr. Bernice King, daughter of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The closing speech was given by Claes Nobel, chairman of the NSHSS. Mr. Nobel concluded his speech with the "Seven Rights" that the world's future leaders should perform for the betterment of the world and our global environment:

- Right Word. -- Words are most powerful. Once a word leaves your mouth ... not even the strength of 10,000 elephants can pull it back again.
- Right Deed. -- Stop talking ... start. walking. Let Dignity, Honor and "TRUTH" be the noble hallmarks of your character.
- Right Attitude. -- Smile, laugh, and be: kind, positive & helpful to all. Become good listeners!
- Right Livelihood. -- Step lightly on the Earth – leave no footprints. Work diligently to save the global environment.
- Right Here -- You do not have to go to the far corners of the world. Start world transformation in your own community. Start right in your own backyard!
- Right Now. -- Do not procrastinate! No more excuses like ... that you have no time! Become an active and very busy person ... for World Betterment and World Change.
