Second in a series of “Healthy Eating in a Flash Workshops”, Family and Community Health Sciences, a part of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, is presenting two Souper Soup classes at the 4-H Center on Wednesday, October 29. Soup makes a great meal on a cold day. It’s also a great start to any meal. Join Daryl Minch, Family and Consumer Science Educator, to taste and learn how to make five delicious nutritious soups. Classes will run from noon to 2 PM or 6 to 8 PM.
Soups include Ribollita (a Tuscan vegetable-bean-bread soup), lentil, chicken gumbo & clam chowder. We’ll serve the soups with bread. Cost is $10 per person for food.
