WATCHUNG, NJ — A small brush fire caused Hillcrest Road to close Tuesday in Watchung around 2:45 p.m., Watchung Police Chief Joe Cina said.

An alert was sent out by police about the closure around 2:45 p.m."There were no reported injuries or property damage, and Hillcrest Rd has been reopened," Cina said as of 3:45 p.m.
