Union County Sheriff Ralph Froehlich, the longest-serving sheriff in New Jersey history, passed away last Sunday night after a period of illness. In recognition of his record of accomplishments, the many lives he touched, and his lifelong passion to serve the people of Union County, his body will lie in state at the Union County Courthouse Rotunda from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27.
