The Improvables Season Opens at the Watchung Arts Center

The Improvables open their 2014-15 Season at the Watchung Arts Center with an Adult Improv Show on Saturday, October 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online for $8 by visiting http://watchungartscenter.eventbrite.com/.

Join the Improvables for an energetic night of comedy where anything can happen and usually does! Enjoy the wacky world that imagination and improv creates and let the stress of the week melt into laughter. The Improvables have been the longest running comedy troupe at the Center and continually produce a unique evening filled with comedy games that will keep them on their toes and the audience doubled over from hysterical laughter.

This show is the first of seven performances by the Improvables at the Watchung Arts Center this season, and will be followed on November 15 by their family-friendly show. Family-friendly shows are suitable for children 10 and older, while adult shows are “R” rated.

Each show features a series of games in which the performers act out various scenes, based on audience suggestions, without advanced knowledge of the topics. Come ready to laugh at the antics of this wonderful improvisational troupe of actors including Randy Schweriner, David Kritz and Michele Kerekes of Bridgewater, Phil Hochman of Plainfield, Roberta Maher of Mt. Arlington and Mike Griffin of Hillsborough.

The Watchung Arts Center, located at 18 Stirling Road in Watchung on the Watchung Circle, is a multi-disciplinary performing arts facility serving Watchung, the surrounding communities and the Tri-State Area.
