'because I said I would' founder Alex Sheen coming to Somerset Home on April 22

WHO/WHAT/WHY:
What if changing the world didn’t involve a miracle solution but people doing what they say they were going to do? Alex Sheen, founder of because I said I would - an internationally-known social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity – is coming to Somerset County to ask this very question.
The community-wide event is being hosted by Somerset Home (somersethome.org), a local non-profit organization that provides a home and a hopeful future for abused, neglected, homeless, and runaway youth throughout New Jersey. The community-at-large is invited to hear from Sheen and be encouraged to join the movement.
because I said I would encourages and supports people making and keeping promises to end suffering, establish peace, and build happiness. Through ‘promise cards’, people are held accountable to their commitments. The mission is to strengthen humanity’s will which will help people improve themselves, their families, and the community.
