No Sale for Irate Customer at 7-11

A Garwood man seeking to buy a pack of cigarettes at the 7-11 convenience store at 10:54 a.m. June 23 didn't like it when the clerk asked for his ID.

The store clerk told police that the man became beliigerent when he was asked to show his proof of age, and began yelling. The clerk then told the man to leave, but once outside the store the man pushed the clerk and threatened to kill him before leaving.

Police attempted to locate the man, but he was not found.
