Kindergarten Information Workshop
Join us for an important Kindergarten Information evening at Zimmer School in Basking Ridge on Thursday, February 5 at 7:30pm.
Kindergarten is the year that segues from early childhood to the more formalized learning environments of elementary school. In many communities, children starting kindergarten are expected to have mastered academic tasks previously reserved for 1st or 2nd grades. So, what is kindergarten really about in 2015? What are NJ’s Core Standards for Kindergarten? How can parents best optimize this important year for their child?
All are welcome regardless of enrollment plans for next year. Meeting will be held at Zimmer Preschool & Kindergarten, 3048 Valley Road, Basking Ridge, NJ.
