Lucky Is Watchung-Green Brook's Pet Of The Week

WATCHUNG/GREEN BROOK, NJ — Meet Lucky! He has been chosen as Watchung-Green Brook Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"I would like to nominate our cat Lucky. Lucky was about a 6 week old kitten last fall when my son found him drinking from a puddle by the side of his office building. When he brought him home we noticed something was wrong with his eyes. Taking him to the vet we learned he was born without eyes.

He is grown since and is truly amazing. He can navigate our two story home without any problem. Finds his kitty litter with no problem. Amazingly he knows when he has reached the top step going upstairs and where is to go down the stairs. Even with an air conditioner and the TV going in the family room he can locate a fly near the upper part of the window and follow it. He loves to play with our other cat and cuddle with my husband. He was really “Lucky” the day my son found him."
