Manville Man Faces DWI Charge After Accident
Green Brook police respond to June 2 accident.

Pedro Mendoza, 26, of Manville, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 1:20 a.m,. June 2, after the vehicle he was driving on Route 22 was involved in an accident near Washington Road.
He was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests, and at police headquarters, his blood alcohol content tested at 0.19 percent. A BAC of 0.08 or higher is intoxicated under New Jersey law.
He was also charged with reckless driving, driving without a license, and following too closely before being released, pending an appearance in municipal court.
