
Sarah Ehrman, 26, of Manville, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 1:46 a.m. June 9, after police stopped the vehicle she was driving on Route 22.
Police stopped her after observing her vehicle swerving between the lanes and running a red light at Cramer Avenue. She was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests, and when tested, showed a blood alcohol content level of 0.15 percent.
She was also charged with reckless driving, failing to maintain lanes and failure to observe a traffic signal before being released, pending an appearance in municipal court.

Police began to pursue a motorcyclist speeding on Washington Avenue at 6:10 p.m. June 10, but stopped when the rider sped up while entering Dunellen because of the concern for public safety. Dunellen and Piscataway police were notified of the motorcycle, but did not report locating it.

A Woodlawn Avenue resident reported someone damaged the flag and door of their mailbox sometime between 5:30 p.m. June 6 and 10 a.m June 7.

David Fowler, 43, of Plainfield, was charged with careless driving after nearly hitting a police vehicle while speeding up in an attempt to merge ahead of the police car on Warrenville Road at 1:23 p.m. June 6. He was also charged with driving while his license was suspended before being released.
