The Masterwork Chorus Announces Annual Messiah Sing-Along

Join The Masterwork Chorus as they celebrate Handel’s immortal holiday classic, Messiah, with three major events. Masterwork’s annual Messiah Sing-Along, led by Associate Conductor Sun Min Lee, will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at 2 pm at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 215 Boulevard, Mountain Lakes, NJ. Fellowship and complimentary refreshments will follow. No reservations or entrance fee are required, but an offering of $10 is suggested. Singers may borrow scores, but are encouraged to bring their own.
On Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 7:30 pm in the acclaimed acoustic of Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall and on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 8:00 pm at the centrally located Ridge Performing Arts Center in Basking Ridge, NJ, the Chorus performs their exhilarating interpretation of Handel’s complete Messiah under the baton of Music Director Andrew Megill. Maestro Megill, in his last two appearances with The Masterwork Chorus, shares the stage with a professional baroque orchestra and four soloists whose luminous voices are perfectly suited to the work.
