NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Local leaders, school officials and students, and new neighbors officially cut the ribbon for the new North Plainfield campus of Somerset Hills School today. The school for severely learning disabled students moved from a campus of more than 20 acres in Warren to the two acres in North Plainfield in January.
Mayor Michael Giordano joined Executive Director Ryan Kimmins in actually cutting the ribbon, which was held by students Thomas Kasper and Abdel Harris. Kasper and Harris are members of the first high school graduating class from the Somerset Hills School, a new program for the 44-year-old school.
