NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A total of 25 girls from the North Plainfield Girl Scout Troop #65141 stopped by a borough Goodwill store to drop bags of donations on Saturday morning.
Newly-elected Congressman Tom Malinowski (NJ D-7) helped present the GoodTurn patches, which were designed by the marketing department of Goodwill NYNJ, to the girl scouts for their donations at the store at 955 Route 22 West in North Plainfield.
Malinowski offered a question and answer session and then led the scouts on a tour of the Goodwill store to learn about the production process and how donations are sorted and tagged before going to the sales floor.
