New Marshalls Store To Open At Route 22 Shopping Center In Somerset County

WATCHUNG, NJ — Marshalls will be opening a new store in Watchung.

The store, located at 1701 Route 22 West, Blue Star Shopping Center, in Watchung, will open on Aug. 27.

According to the announcement, the new location is relocating from 1701 US Highway 22 West, Watchung. The store will be about 22,000 square feet.

The new store plans to add approximately 60 full and part-time jobs to the area.

Marshalls said the grand opening will run from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Aug. 27.

Regular store hours are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day.

The retailer said shoppers in Watchung will find merchandise across fashion, accessories, shoes, beauty, home, men, kids, pet and more.

The company described Marshalls as an off-price retailer with more than 1,200 stores operating in 48 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.

According to the announcement, the Watchung store will offer a fresh selection of brand name and designer fashion delivered daily, a broad range of products from fashion and beauty to home, and a single queue checkout.

In addition to the new store opening, Marshalls said it plans to support the community with a charitable donation.

In celebration of the Watchung location, the company said it will donate $10,000 to a local charity.
