NJ Church Bringing Racial Solidarity Services to Area
Oasis Church warmly invites all to its "Takin' IT to the PARK" Church Service and Picnic Party at Cedarbrook Park in Plainfield.

In response to the recent Charleston, SC shootings and the climate of our country regarding racial division, Oasis-Church-NJ.com , a central NJ non-denominational church in 2 locations, warmly invites the community to its “Takin’ IT to the PARK” Big Top Tent Church Service and Picnic Party at Cedar Brook Park in Plainfield on Sunday, July 12th, at 11 a.m. Enter the park from Park Avenue >Park Dr. For more information call 732-406-7821.
According to David Butler, lead pastor, “Oasis, a multi-cultural church, is partnering with several churches in Central NJ to bring together all people from all backgrounds for services to proclaim the love and forgiveness that is offered in Jesus Christ. At the service and picnic, pastors from different churches and backgrounds will be on hand in a show of solidarity and unity.”
Butler stated “The love and forgiveness Americans saw from the families of the victims in Charleston was only possible because of the Gospel. The healing of our society from racism and division begins with diverse churches like ours standing up as a human family in ways that celebrate and respect differences between ethnic communities for the common good. Taking our church to Plainfield and inviting all people e to our party is one small, practical way to show love.”
