No Knollwood Work This Year

Watchung will seek grants for road widening project.

It's official: work to widen and repave Knollwood Drive in Watchung will not be done this year.

With an estimate cost of $775,000 for the work, the borough isn't going to undertake the job without getting some financial help, Borough Councilman William Nehls said at the council's May 3 meeting.Ā

The borough had applied for a grant for the project, but did not receive it. Nehls said the borough would reapply next year.
