If entertainment can be defined as an agreeable occupation of the mind, thenRobinson Treacher has found a way to encompass this in every aspect of his contribution to music-kind. Whether playing the role as front man to the soul-rock infused Delaware Hudson, as co-collaborator to the Alt-Country based Tensleep, or as a solo singer/songwriter, Treacher seems to drain himself of energy in the ceaseless pursuit of portraying moments of musical passion. This passion is evident in every attempt he makes to involve his listeners in the spiritual orchestrations of emotion that have been meticulously tempered into songs.
Julia Joseph is one of the finest performers of song out there today. She lets you know in every note that soul, swing, heart and intelligence can never go out of style. With strongly formed roots in classic soul, jazz, latin and rhythm and blues, the New York City singer and songwriter’s music is, at its essence, timeless. It lulls you out of your contemporary moment and into her world, where dreams come alive and the human heart speaks clearly for all. Julia’s debut, Hush, won the Independent Music Award’s popular vote for Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Album. As a trained and eclectic vocal artist, she also does freelance work as a session vocalist and back-up singer. Her voice can be heard on the music of NBC’s hit comedy 30 Rock and she is thrilled to be in production on her second album in collaboration with 30 Rock composer and music producer, Giancarlo Vulcano.
Brothers Noah and Dan Rauchwerk formally joined forces as The Lords of Liechtenstein in 2007. With Noah on ukulele/vocals and Dan on acoustic guitar/banjo/vocals, they have brought their unique blend of folk music to clubs and coffeehouses all over the East Coast of the United States. They’ve played at a wide expanse of renowned venues including the Minstrel Coffeehouse and the Starland Ballroom and have opened for the likes of musical legends like The Grand Slambovians, Magpie, Toby Walker, and Joe Crookston. The Lords have released four CDs, the most recent being Girlz (with a ‘Z”), out earlier this year.
