Pat is the current Deputy Mayor of Green Brook, a position he has held since January 2011, and is in his third year of service as a member of the Green Brook Township Committee.

Pat has served on the Township of Green Brook Land Use Board/Planning Board for over 7 years and served as the Planning Board’s Vice Chairman prior to being elected to the Township Committee.

In addition to the Land Use Board, Pat is the Township Committee Liaison for the Green Brook Cultural, Heritage, and History Preservation Committee (CHHP) and the Green Brook Youth Services Commission.

Pat is a New Jersey resident since 1986 and has lived in Green Brook for 16 years with his wife Annie and their three sons, aged 23, 19, and 14, all of whom attend or have attended the Green Brook school system.

A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a 27 year veteran in the engineering consulting field, Pat is a Principal and Director, Project Management for Integrated Project Services in Franklin Township, New Jersey and is a Professional Engineer inNew Jersey, New York, and California.

As a volunteer, Pat has logged 15 years of service with Green Brook Cub Scout Pack 129 and Boy Scout Troup 129 serving as a Den Leader, Cubmaster, Committee Chairman, and currently as Assistant Scout Master and Unit Commissioner.

Pat has been a member of the Green Brook Lions Club for 7 years including 3 years as the Club’s President. Pat is the Club’s current First Vice President. He has also served as Secretary and Scholarship Chairman.

Pat served 10 years as a CCD teacher at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex, New Jersey. Pat also served 5 years as a Green Brook Little League coach and 3 years as a Green Brook Hockey League coach.

In recognition of his many years of service to the community, Pat Boccio was named Green Brook’s Volunteer of the Year for 2008.

Part of Pat’s vision for Green Brook is the development of a Green Brook Township Strategic Plan. The strategic plan would focus on what makes Green Brook a great place to live and raise a family and will chart a strategic direction for Green Brook. The initial planning and facilitation for this effort has been completed and the kick-off and focus group meetings were held on June 23.

The Strategic Plan would set goals, strategies, and success/progress indicators and would set up a framework on how decisions would be made, drawing upon points of view from inside the government (the committees/independent boards and organizations), from the community, and from other or outside sources (as appropriate). Most of the building blocks are already in place in Green Brook through the committees, the school board, other independent organizations, etc. What the strategic plan will do is pull them all together in a more cohesive fashion.

Pat supports strong, state implemented anti-pay-to-play legislation. Locally Pat has made the commitment not to accept campaign contributions in excess of $300 from any one source.

Pat is running with former Green Brook Mayor Ken Herrmann and current Township Committee member on the Republican ticket.
