Police Investigate 3-Car Crash On Route 22 In North Plainfield
Three people were hospitalized following the crash on Route 22 East in North Plainfield early Saturday morning, authorities report.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a three-car crash on Route 22 East early Saturday morning.
The initial two-car crash was reported at around 5:56 a.m. on Jan. 12 at the intersection of West End Avenue, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said.
While police were responding, a third vehicle then reportedly struck one of the initial disabled vehicles. Three people involved in the crash were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment, Robertson said.

The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART) responded and is investigating the serious motor vehicle crash.
