Police Say Man Tried to Give False ID
Brian Green, of Plainfield, charged with hindering after giving wrong name.

Brian Green, 39, of Plainfield, was charged with hindering police officers after he gave a false name to police when he was stopped at the at 12:26 a.m. May 19, for making an illegal left-hand turn.
Police said they observed the vehicle Green was driving make the turn and enter the parking lot at the hotel. When officers asked for his ID, he said he did not have his license with him, that he had lost his Jamaican license, and provided a false name.
Police were able to identify his real name from the alias because of a description matching him that accompanied a warrant for his arrest issued by the Plainfield municipal court, with a $1,654 bond, as well as a warrant issued by Union County, with no bail.

Green was turned over to Union County officials after charges of hindering, making an improper and driving while his license was suspended, were filed.
